Ulysses the cat

This is a neighborhood cat who decided to take up temporary residence on top of a storage/work shed on our property.  For no particular reason, I call him Ulysses.  I don't know who he belongs to, but he's a frequent visitor, and has been barked at by the Valdese Dog more than once.

We do not have stray cats on our property ever since we got our crazy dog :o) Squirrels are pretty scared, too...

We have a neighborhood cat too. One of the neighbors puts out food and water for her. She likes to hide under my car during the day :)

Ivanhoe: If I gave the Valdese Dog free reign, I suspect Ulysses the cat would be a lot scarcer.

Ms. O.D.: Ulysses seems to spend most of the time in our neighbors basement - but I've seen him/her under and on our deck. This was the first time I'd seen him on top of that building tho.
