I Miss Zippy the Pinhead

I don't think Zippy is the most popular comic strip in the world.  But for years I'd read it and either chuckle or guffaw, depending on the situation.   Since I've been in North Carolina tho, I've had to do without Zippy the Pinhead.

This particular strip, from several years ago is chuckle-worthy, and leaves me thinking, why shouldn't we have gone to war with New Jersey?

DOM: I remember Zippy in the comics, but at some point the editors would decide to take a poll and Zippy would one of the least popular because its just so odd, and it'd be gone. The tyranny of the majority, I reckon.

Zippy the pinhead! I no longer read a paper with comics, but the Washington Post had a great section, that included Zippy (and Mark Trail -- yes, I was a Mark Trail fan).

Jennifer: Yep I read Zippy in the Post too. I think the Balmer Sun had it too - tho I can't remember. How quickly things fade.
